Council Corner: December 2024

On Sunday, November 24th 35 voting members gathered in the sanctuary and via zoom to participate in our Annual Meeting.

Mike Foster and Kristie Kinsella were elected to Council for a 3 year term and Paul Mandart was elected for a 1 year term.We gave thanks to our outgoing Council members, Pam Dilg and Becky Roppel, for their service to the leadership team of St. Mark’s over the past several years.

It was determined that Sue Sterner and Kenny Copps would represent our congregation at all Synod events in the 2025 year.

We heard from all committees regarding the work done in 2024 via our annual report.

The report on the audit of our finances was extremely favorable as to the way our finance committee handles all things money.

We adopted a new model Constitution and and passed a financial budget for 2025.

Thank you for attending and participating in this important meeting around the life of our congregation at St. Mark’s. It was a clear reminder just how we Follow Jesus, Embrace All, and Serve Neighbors.
